Flamma Cosmetic Division was established
very recently (September 2000) with
the intention of putting in the cosmetic
market functional substances aminoacid-derived
already used for other applications,
such as pharmaceutical and nutraceutical.
Amino acids derivatives and peptides
have a number of properties that can
enhance cosmetic compositions. Their
versatility is impressive, as they can
be used for skin care as anti-oxidant
active ingredient, as tissue regenerator
agent or for their water retention capacity.
Some of them have substantivity to hair
care and they can be used for conditioning,
film-forming capacity.
